- Mills Memorial Hospital Auxiliary: working in the thrift shop
- Red Cross Loan Service: Health Equipment Loan Program

- Riverboat Days: Variety of positions throughout a two week period, typically the last week of July and the first week of August
- Salmon Run (Kitsumkalum): One day event, volunteer positions include timekeeping, water stations, and parking, barbecue and kitchen helpers

- Skeena Valley Fall Fair: A variety of positions such as gate/tickets, kid’s activities, exhibition hall, ticket sales and many more.

The yard clean up program helps seniors clean up yard waste before the snow if they struggle with physical disabilities or restrictions. Volunteers can be anyone who wishes to help to make seniors’ homes cleaner and pleasant. Volunteers to assist qualified, pre-approved residents are matched with neighborhoods

- Volunteer Terrace Snow Angels:
The Snow Angel program helps seniors clearing snow, with eager volunteers from our community.
Snow Angels respond to requests made to Volunteer Terrace by seniors who are unable to shovel their own snow due to physical disabilities or restrictions.
The Snow Angels can be anyone who wishes to volunteer to make seniors’ homes safer. Volunteers to assist qualified, pre-approved residents are matched with neighbors

We create volunteer opportunities to address community needs and to inspire youth for a lifetime commitment to service. We are 1 of 2 Canadian YVC affiliates and proud to offer a youth-driven program that conducts frequent, supervised, team-based service projects that address issues in a way the youth see fit.
